About This Woodstock Roof Replacement
Existing Roof and Tear-Off
The Woodstock home has blue horizontal siding, white trim, multiple front-facing windows, and a covered porch beneath a sloped roof system. During the work, removed roofing materials and packaging were visible on the ground near the deck and in a trailer. The old roofing was taken off in sections, exposing the roof areas around the windows, wall transitions, and adjoining slopes. Our crew worked from the roof and used the trailer to collect discarded shingles and other job debris.
Underlayment and Roof Preparation
After tear-off, the roof was covered with printed synthetic underlayment across the main slopes. The photos show the membrane installed over the roof deck with fasteners and seams visible, including around roof penetrations and along the edges. At a wall and window transition, our crew worked with flashing materials and sealant to close the joint. Additional black roofing material is visible along a lower roof section beside the deck, showing preparation of the smaller connected roof areas before the shingle installation was completed.
Shingle Installation and Ventilation
New architectural-style asphalt shingles in a blended dark gray color were installed across the main roof slopes. The shingle courses are visible from the eaves upward, with workers fastening individual shingles using pneumatic tools. The completed roofing includes black pipe vent boots and a raised ridge vent along the roof peak. Underlayment remains visible around the ridge during installation, while flashing and sealant were applied at the wall and window intersections. These details are shown on the Woodstock roof as the crew completed the different sections.
Finished Woodstock Roof
The final photo shows the completed roof from the front of the Woodstock property. The dark gray shingles provide a consistent finish across the main gable roof and the lower porch roof, coordinating with the blue siding and white trim. The roofline, ridge, pipe vents, and edge details appear complete from the visible front elevation. The finished home remains set among mature trees, with the porch, front steps, driveway, and landscaping visible below the new roof.
